Priyanka Kawali, MD, is a pediatrician in Federal Way, WA, where most patients are immigrants or from other underserved populations. Coming from an immigrant background herself, and being proficient in three languages, she works hard to create a safe space for patients and their families where they can open up about topics like mental health and gender identity. REACH training will enable her to even better serve her patients and increase awareness about children’s mental health through community outreach.
