Joseph Mason Kent, PA-C, is a pediatric hematology and oncology physician’s assistant in Baton Rouge, LA. In addition to looking after his patients’ medical needs, Joseph would like to use his REACH training to manage some of the mental health needs of his underserved patients, given the lack of resources in the community. He hopes to start support groups for his oncology and sickle cell patients and their families.
“The opportunity to learn information to help me manage psychiatric conditions in my patients in this time where demand clearly outweighs supply of services, is going to be excellent for me as a PCP in my community.”
