Beth Heuer, NP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner and behavioral health care specialist at a pediatric clinic in Philadelphia, PA, where most patients are on Medicaid and local families have limited healthcare access. She will use her REACH training to expand mental health services for her patients. She will also educate nursing students at Temple University, where she is a nursing professor, and increase awareness among her colleagues in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
