Osama Aloudat, MD, NP, is a primary care clinician in St. Louis, MO, where long waits for psychiatric services and a high proportion of Medicaid-insured patients can make timely mental health care difficult to access. PPP training will help him manage common pediatric mental health conditions within primary care while reserving specialty referrals for more complex needs. He prioritizes culturally and linguistically responsive care, using interpreters and adapting treatment plans to patients’ circumstances, including transportation, insurance, and family barriers.
