Kimberly Amedee, NP, is a nurse practitioner in Conyers, GA, pursuing a doctoral degree with a psychiatric concentration. PPP training will reinforce her education and provide a stronger foundation for addressing mental health needs in her community. She has advocated for individualized care by helping a pediatric patient and family find a mental health clinician with expertise in LGBTQ+ care rather than relying on a standard referral, ensuring their specific needs were heard and addressed.
