Erin Hernandez, NP, is a primary care clinician who hopes the PPP will expand her ability to diagnose and manage mental health conditions for her community in Urbandale, IA. She values providing care in a familiar primary care setting and speaking to her patients and their families in their native Spanish language. She also takes time to understand patients’ experiences with trauma, discrimination, and other barriers so she can tailor care to their individual needs.
