Sarah Puffer, MD, is a pediatrician in Indianapolis, IN, passionate about caring for children experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences. With limited pediatric psychiatry access on the city’s east side, she hopes PPP training will help her provide timely care while also sharing practical approaches with residents and pediatric colleagues across her health system. She believes equitable care must be accessible and hopes to reduce the transportation, scheduling, and emotional barriers families face when referred to new clinicians.
