Coretta Pitters, NP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner at an FQHC in Montgomery, AL, where limited pediatric mental health resources create significant barriers for Medicaid and underinsured patients. Coretta serves patients regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status and is a major source of care for immigrant and minority communities. The PPP will help her expand access to mental health care for children in her community and surrounding areas.
