Judith Warner is the author of eight non-fiction books, including the New York Times bestsellers, Perfect Madness: Motherhood in the Age of Anxiety, and Hillary Clinton: The Inside Story.
Her most recent book, We’ve Got Issues: Children and Parents in the Age of Medication won media awards from The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as well as a Changing Lives Award from the Parent/Professional Advocacy League. In 2012, Judy was also the recipient of a Rosalynn Carter Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism.
She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, where she specializes in women’s leadership and work-family policy, and is a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine. She is also currently writing a new book on middle school and its vicissitudes.
From 2006-2009, she wrote the popular New York Times column, “Domestic Disturbances.” She has also been a columnist for Time.com, hosted “The Judith Warner Show” on XM satellite radio, and was a special correspondent for Newsweek in Paris. She has been a freelance contributor for a wide variety of newspapers and magazines.
She lives in Washington, DC with her family.
