Tsering Lhewa, MD, is a community pediatrician and medical director at a neurodevelopment center in Vancouver, WA, serving a large Medicaid population and many families experiencing socioeconomic challenges and adverse childhood experiences. He will use his PPP training to strengthen mental health care for these patients and share what he learns with colleagues. As a member of his clinic’s Health Equity Committee, Dr. Lhewa has helped expand multilingual resources and access for underserved families, including immigrant and transgender patients.
