Shelby Bell, NP, is a primary care clinician in Forest, MS, where patients often wait about six months to see the nearest psychiatrist, located an hour away. The PPP program will strengthen her ability to understand, diagnose, and manage common mental health conditions and provide a much-needed local resource for children and families. She is committed to culturally responsive care and has built relationships with local translators to better understand and serve her Hispanic and Latino patients.
