Karli Silverberg, MD, is a pediatrician in Austin, TX, where many patients are uninsured or underinsured and have very limited access to mental health services. Families frequently ask her for help with mental health concerns, and she hopes PPP training will provide the formal education and support to meet those needs with greater confidence. Dr. Silverberg is particularly attuned to the barriers faced by families whose transportation or insurance challenges have resulted in being turned away from care elsewhere.
