Allison Empey, MD, is a pediatrician in a tribal clinic run and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, where she has created an accepting practice for her fellow indigenous patients. She is also an Assistant Professor in pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University and actively mentors underrepresented medical students and residents. With her teaching platform and deep community work, she will use her REACH training not only with her own patients but also to educate her students and colleagues.
