Megan Lee, MD, is a pediatrician in Jacksonville Beach, FL, deeply committed to ensuring equitable access to mental health care for all children, regardless of their background, socioeconomic status, or cultural identity. She hopes to use her REACH training to expand community outreach and education around children’s mental health in addition to better supporting her peers and advocating for systemic change.

She works with a diverse patient population and collaborates with behavioral health hubs to improve services for children on Medicaid. She plans to use the training to deepen her work with a Florida behavioral health hub, train family medicine residents, and improve access to services for children with Medicaid.

With her REACH training, she plans to implement evidence-based strategies to improve early identification and management of common conditions, reducing unnecessary referrals and strengthening caregiver support.
